Cyber fetish has always interested me, not necessarily in the sexual sense (although I do find it very sexy) but in the way that it encourages thought about the future. Political and environmental implications are very present in some styles of the cyber clothing, as are technological attributes one would find in an early adopter of new gear. Others lean more towards the fantasy aspects of the future where we've moved beyond environmental strife, these styles are more clinical and shiny. Then you have the mixed bag of faery land clothing cut with a bit of techno or the party future post-apocalypse style that looks more functional and aims to keep you from being run over (lots of LED's and reflective bits).

As a project management type, I am constantly thinking about the future - as a web developer and technology enthusiast I have high hopes for cyber innovation. As a general realist I foresee many environmental and political issues similar to those raised in cyber and post-apocalypse fiction in my future.
